Caesars Entertainment will be the second location for La Strada restaurant and the first location on the East Coast in The Shore at Harah's Atlantic City on May 19. With authentic Italian roots and a modern touch, La Strada at the Shore is ready to become a must-visit dining spot this summer.
The founder of La Strada, Don Carano, was an Italian-American III who excelled in the heart and business of his family. Despite being the CEO of Eldorado Resort when La Strada opened in 1978, he always took the time to know that with the best ingredients in, the best results would come out.
Unlike the original Reno location, which features a more traditional Italian feel in both decorations and cooking, La Strada at the Shore will offer a modern dining experience featuring fresh pasta, bold flavors, and creative cocktail menus inspired by the Carano family's stories. Paying tribute to the family's origins and love of Italian cuisine, restaurants use authentic Italian ingredients and family recipes to bring some of their Carano heritage to the United States.
"He used to say, 'Food is our Frank Sinatra.' He used to joke that our food would be our Sinatra because we couldn't afford one. He offered to create an authentic, homemade menu that dates back to our Italian roots, serving high-quality food," said Anthony Carano, president and COO of Caesars Entertainment. "When he opened La Strada in Reno in 1978, every customer who walked through the door treated him like a family, creating a living culture both in Caesars Entertainment and our restaurant today. We look forward to introducing this modern concept of La Strada to our new neighborhood, paying tribute to him when it opens in Atlantic City later this month."
The menu highlight is the famous Porcini Ravioli, which is made from fresh herbs and was named the "Best Pasta in the Country" by Sara Ventiera in 2019 by the Food Network. The menu also comes with classic options, such as chicken Parmigiana and Rigatoni. La Strada's signature dish blends perfectly with Don's favorite wine and homemade gelato. "We are excited to bring 'La Strada at the Shore' to Atlantic City," said John Coster, regional president of Caesars Entertainment's Eastern division. "The Carano family has a long reputation for quality, authenticity, and passion, and we are confident that 'La Strada at the Shore' will exceed expectations." 바카라사이트
The La Strada experience is based on the three pillars of love - Amore Pur Italy, Amore Di Famiglia, and Amore Pur La Cucina. Amore Pur Italy highlights traditional methods and recipes throughout Italy with the best fresh ingredients the Italians have ever brought from Italy. Amore Di Famiglia accepts that good food is much better when shared with family, and this is a concept deeply rooted in La Strada's culture. From recipes to preparations, families participate in every aspect of the restaurant. Amore Pur La Cucina emphasizes a commitment to the best fresh ingredients, celebrating chefs with its open kitchen and promoting collaboration among them. La Strada also has an interior butcher shop, bakery, and roastery with a sign reminding chefs to "put salt in the water" to make sure the dish tastes the best.
La Strada at the Shore will have a refreshing look, with updated table settings, redesigned fireplaces, and murals paying homage to the restaurant's Italian roots. The space will also feature a wine exhibition near the entrance to the bar and restaurant. Several interactive table side touchpoints throughout the restaurant will enhance the dining experience for guests.
